After having a near breakdown because I couldnt get the freaking grass cut, and then after i couldnt get Dragan's bike tires pumped up, I have come to the conclusion that I am not always going to be able to do everything by myself. Sometimes I am going to have to ask for help whether I like to or not. I am not Superwoman (although I come pretty close ;) ) Anyway, Im feeling better now and am not going to be discouraged from trying things again.
May is a month that has many memories. My birthday is in May. On May 2nd, one year ago, Mom was admitted to the hospital and found out she had cancer. She had her surgery in May. I quit smoking last May. It seems like it was just yesterday that all of this happened...... but then again, it seems like years ago.
On a better note, we have a lot of things going on in May. Dragan will have his Kindergarten picnic and graduation ceremony. He has had a great year in K this year. He will also have goofy games at his school. Toren is being the King Mufasa in his school's production of the Lion King. He did a short version on Friday for the spring program and was so good!!! Kendra made honor roll for her second time.
I want to spend this summer doing things with my family and spending time with them. We are going to go watch and cheer for Timmy at his baseball games. I plan to have cook-outs and invites friends and family over. I want to visit people I dont get to see much. Too bad I have to work in July.
